Corine Dehghanpisheh is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in New York State. She has worked with children who have been sexually abused, women and children who have been victims of domestic violence, and adults who live with mental illness. Corine is also the founder of My Art to Inspire.
She has a B.A. in Art Education from The Ohio State University and a M.P.S. in Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute.
Corine is an advocate for the creative arts in therapy and education. She believes that the creative arts help people to express themselves, communicate, and learn. Corine's creative spirit and her passion for the creative arts inspire her daily work, writing, and illustrations.
She currently lives in New York City with her husband Daryan and her dog Buddy pictured below. Buddy was the inspiration for much of the artwork in the book.
